Worth it for the price

I was looking for a new coffee source and saw Gewoon, Goede Boon. I decided on the Koffiebonen #3. The overall price for the 500g bag was quite competitive, especially with the free shipping offer. I usually compare a few places before buying, and this felt like a smart choice. The coffee itself was fresh and had a sweet, refined taste as promised. Definitely felt like I got good value.

Always reliable, great beans

Another solid order from Gewoon, Goede Boon. I got my usual Koffiebonen #1 again. Just like my last few orders, it arrived quickly and the beans were fresh. It's why I keep coming back, the quality is consistently good.

Good coffee, slight delay

I ordered the Koffiebonen #2 this time, and the flavor was really nice, very robust as described. The packaging was good too, kept everything fresh. Delivery took a day longer than the initial estimate, which was a minor inconvenience, but overall I'm happy with the purchase. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about the delay. Good value for money.

Smooth experience, quality product

I bought a 1kg bag of their Koffiebonen #1 for my automatic machine. Ordering online was straightforward, and the website was easy to navigate. The coffee arrived within three days, securely packed. The beans themselves were clearly very fresh; you could smell the roast as soon as I opened the bag. This particular blend works really well for my morning espresso, producing a rich crema and strong flavor. I had a question about storage, and their customer service responded quickly with helpful tips. I've bought from other roasters before, but this experience felt very seamless from start to finish. I'd definitely recommend them for anyone looking for good quality, fresh coffee delivered to their door.

Love these beans!

Just received my Koffiebonen Proefpakket and I'm so happy with it! The variety is great and all the beans smelled amazing. I can't wait to try them all. Such a fantastic way to find a new favorite. I'll absolutely be ordering more once I pick one!

Is this brand really better than Wakuli or Boot Koffie? Or is it just more marketing? Trying to decide where to get my next batch.

N Nick Foster 2 months ago
I've tried Wakuli, and while good, GGB feels fresher somehow. The numbered system is also super easy to pick what you want. Definitely worth a try.

It's different for everyone's taste, but I found GGB's beans to have a really clean taste. Boot Koffie is okay, but I prefer the profiles here. Plus, the direct delivery is convenient.

Which of their blends is best for an espresso machine? Looking for something strong and full-bodied.

N Noor 2 months ago
For espresso, definitely check out their #1 or #2. #1 is 'Krachtig & Vol' (Powerful & Full), #2 is 'Krachtig & Sterk' (Powerful & Strong). I use #1 in my piston machine and it's great.

They also have specific 'Espressobonen' listed, which are usually optimized for that. But yeah, the #1 or #2 would be good picks from the numbered ones.

Hey guys, thinking about getting the subscription. Is it a good deal? Like, how much cheaper is it usually compared to just buying bags every now and then?

L Laura 2 months ago
Yeah, totally worth it. You get a permanent discount per bag if you subscribe. I think it's like 10-15% cheaper.

It's a solid deal, saves you a few euros per bag over time. Plus, you don't have to remember to order. I'd say go for it if you drink a lot of coffee.

Anyone know if you can stack coupon codes? Got a first-time buyer one and maybe a newsletter one coming. Wanna get the best discount possible.

A Andre Nguyen 2 months ago
Nah, pretty sure you can only use one code per order. Tried it once, didn't work for me.

I don't think most places let you combine codes online. Usually just one at checkout. The subscription discount is good though.

How fast do they actually ship? Need some beans by next week for a gathering, so wondering if it'll make it to Amsterdam on time.

T Tom Vargas 2 months ago
From my experience, they're pretty quick. Usually, it's 1-2 business days for delivery within NL. Should be fine for Amsterdam.

Mine arrived super fast to Utrecht, like a day after ordering. You should be good for next week, they roast fresh and ship quick.
